"Helios", named after the Greek god of the Sun, is a play between positive and negative space, between ‘being’ and ‘non-being. Rather than completed forms (or gestalts), it’s about the infinite possibilities of form - where empty space and possible forms converge. Sheldon's sculptural works are more like an expressed ‘convergence point’ in space, than a fully realized object - akin to ‘spatial music’. Sculpture suitable for indoor or outdoor display.
