Born and raised in Sandusky, Ohio, I have since relocated to the South. Upon retiring I am dividing my time between Sarasota, Fl. and Asheville, N.C. I am a self taught Artist. 

 

My work explores the tribal & spiritual elements that I see in nature by using bold colors and various textures of vines, mainly Virginia Creeper and incorporating some wild grape vine as well, as with discarded wood. I also incorporate various types of metals found locally to capture the essence of the natural world. 

 

I am passionate about creating works of art that evoke emotion and invite viewers to connect with the beauty of the magical natural environment where we live.
